About Park Marine Base, Inc.
Founded more than 60 years ago by Peter and Virginia Nicosia, Park Marine Base, Inc. started with five boat slips and a supply of spark plugs. In 1994, their daughter and son-in-law, Mary and David Dickey, joined the family business. When Peter passed away in 1998, David and Mary took up the marina reins full-time. Today they have slips for 100 boats and storage for just as many. In addition, they also have jet ski slips.

Meet The Owners
Mary Dickey
Mary Dickey is the co-owner and operator of Park Marine Base with over 25 years of marina operations and engine repair experience. She graduated from USCGA with a degree in Civil Engineering. As a USCG veteran, Mary toured afloat and onshore both on the command deck and in engineering. She grew up at the marina and eventually joined the business with her parents in 1994. By 1998, Mary had assumed the business with her husband, David.
She is a certified Mercury Outboard and Mercruiser Technician and regularly attends training on new Mercury products, including Verado outboards and Mercruiser Emission Control engines. She enjoys the challenge of engine repairs and believes in the right tool to get any job done right the first time. The marina has invested in the necessary diagnostic equipment for today’s high-tech engines and boat systems. On her off time, Mary enjoys relaxing on the house porch with a good book or a spirited card game and looks forward to cross-country skiing as a PSIA Nordic ski instructor.
